A reviewer-ready summary
The agent produces a short, factual account of what it compared and what it found. It does not assert a conclusion it cannot evidence, and it does not resolve the item itself.
Each summary includes
- A plain-language statement of the discrepancy and its size.
- The comparisons performed and their results.
- Links to the source evidence for each figure cited.
- Any similar exceptions found elsewhere in the same run.
- Explicit uncertainty where the cause cannot be determined from available data.
Boundary
Validation stays deterministic
Whether a value passes or fails is decided by your configured rules, not by a model. Agents assist with understanding and triage; they do not adjust thresholds, waive checks or approve output.
- Rules, tolerances and materiality thresholds are configuration you control.
- Agents cannot mark an exception as resolved.
- All investigation activity is recorded in the audit trail.
- Resolution reasons entered by reviewers are stored with the period.
