Custom reporting automation

Investor reporting that scales with the number of funds.

Factsheets, investor packs, capital account statements and performance reporting are produced on a fixed cycle from data that arrives late and in inconsistent formats. Datox automates the assembly and leaves the team to review and comment.

The cycle

A recurring investor reporting run

  1. Collect

Administrator NAV files, portfolio and performance data, fee calculations and investor register data are ingested for the period.

  2. Prepare

Data is mapped, normalised and aggregated to the reporting model, by fund, share class, strategy or investor group.

  3. Validate

Reconciliations to the administrator, performance consistency checks and period-over-period movement checks are run.

  4. Review & comment

Reviewers clear exceptions and add or approve commentary; sign-off is recorded per fund.

  5. Produce & deliver

Factsheets, investor packs, working files and datasets are generated and delivered to the agreed destinations.

Consistency

One set of numbers behind every document

When factsheets, investor packs and internal reporting are produced separately, they drift. Producing them from one approved dataset removes that class of error entirely.

Practical effects

  • The same performance figure appears identically in every output.
  • A late correction is applied once and flows to all affected documents.
  • Variants share data and differ only in presentation and scope.
  • Every published figure can be traced back to its source.
