Use of services and accounts
You may use Datox services only in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality, securing credentials and activities performed under your account, and you must provide accurate registration information.
- Do not misuse the platform.
- Do not interfere with system integrity.
- Do not upload malicious content.
- Do not reverse engineer the platform.
- Do not use the services for unlawful purposes.
Customer Data and AI-generated outputs
Customers retain ownership of all uploaded files, datasets, and business information. By using the service, you grant Datox a limited right to process Customer Data solely for providing the services.
- Customers are responsible for ensuring they have lawful rights to upload and process their data.
- Datox may generate outputs using AI and automated systems.
- Customers are responsible for reviewing and validating generated outputs, including regulatory filings, calculations, and extracted data.
- Datox does not guarantee that AI-generated results will be error-free.
Intellectual property and API usage
All software, trademarks, branding, documentation, and platform materials provided by Datox remain the intellectual property of Datox or its licensors. No ownership rights are transferred to users.
- API access may be subject to rate limits, usage quotas, subscription plans and additional fees.
- Datox reserves the right to suspend API access for abuse, excessive usage, or security concerns.
Payments, subscriptions and availability
Paid services may require recurring subscription payments. We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
- Unless otherwise agreed, fees are non-refundable.
- Pricing may change with notice.
- Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination.
- Taxes may apply depending on jurisdiction.
Limitation of liability and indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Datox shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, data loss, business interruption, or regulatory penalties resulting from customer misuse or incorrect submissions. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer during the previous 12 months.
- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Datox from claims arising from your misuse of the services.
- Violation of these Terms.
- Infringement of third-party rights.
- Unlawful data uploads or processing.
Confidentiality and termination
Both parties agree to protect confidential information shared during the use of the services. Confidential information shall not be disclosed except as required by law.
- We may suspend or terminate access if Terms are violated.
- If required payments are not made.
- If security risks are detected.
- If use of the service creates legal or operational risks.
- Customers may stop using the services at any time.
Governing law and changes to Terms
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales unless otherwise required by applicable law.
- We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
